Q&A: Is This Hotel All-Inclusive?

Question by Mat: Is This Hotel All-Inclusive?
I am going to Cancun soon and need to know if this is an all inclusive hotel. The name of the hotel is “Oasis Palm Beach Resort” with the words “All Inclusive” after it. I need an all inclusive package. When I read the description it says the hotel provides all inclusive plans. “Plans”?? Isn’t the whole thing inclusive. Im looking at this link: check it out please.

Your link is broken but I think the difference is whether you get an ocean front room or a standard room. Clearly Ocean front costs more. All of the other amenities are included.

Q&A: What do “All-Inclusive Resorts” usually include?

Question by lehong: What do “All-Inclusive Resorts” usually include?

Best answer:

Answer by CPG
Mainly all-inclusive resorts include your hotel room, food, snacks, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) – obviously this only covers those ‘purchased’ on the resort and not on the regular streets.

The only things that they do not include are out or resort activities and excursions such as scuba diving, snorkeling etc.

All inclusive holidays are great for families and people who like to eat and drink as much as they can.

If you don’t plan on eating, drinking or staying in the resort/hotel much then you are better off with half-board.

Q&A: What does “Unlimited domestic drinks” in an “all inclusive Resort” mean?

Question by astyleahead: What does “Unlimited domestic drinks” in an “all inclusive Resort” mean?
We’re planning on going on an all inclusive vacation in Jamaica. The particular Resort we picked is a little unclear about their description – one travel site says “unlimited domestic drinks…another one “Unlimited beverages at any of the eight bars”. Does it include alcohol and if so can you really drink all you want at any of the bars and wine with dinner etc?
“It also states it includes all hotel taxes and gratuities” Does that mean we don’t have to worry about tipping?

Best answer:

Answer by saddened
Yes that means you can drink alcohol until you fall off your bar stool or pool stool! What’s good about this All-Inclusive plan is you can try many different types of drinks never having to worry about wasting money if you don’t like it. Just note that depending on the resort they may have generic alcohol versus some resorts have premium liquor. You can also get house wine at the dinner.

No you don’t have to tip – it’s at your discretion. Sometimes I tip the bellman, the maid, and maybe a good bartender but it is not mandatory!
