The captain of the cruise ship can marry you….I think that would be exciting except you would probably have two thousand guests….Could be expensive.

Has anyone out there had a destination “Sandals Resort” wedding – AND did you get the Preston Bailey package?

Question by gigi: Has anyone out there had a destination “Sandals Resort” wedding – AND did you get the Preston Bailey package?
I have booked my wedding with the Caribbean Sunset theme designed by Preston Bailey in Montego Bay Jamaica. Is it as pretty as the pictures and was it worth it for the price? Thanks ahead of time for your feed back!

My cousin just did a vow renewal at Sandals Whitehouse. She didn’t go with the Preston Bailey package but a standard package and it was absolutely beautiful. I was quite impressed with the Preston Bailey package as well. A bit pricey, but if it’s your first time getting married I would highly suggest it.

Vacation decision :Cruise to Caribbean or “All-Inclusive ” Resort?

Question by KG: Vacation decision :Cruise to Caribbean or “All-Inclusive ” Resort?
My wife and I can’t decide which to do. We’ve been on a cruise twice , but never to a “all-inclusive resort”.

Not big alcohol drinkers, so having the “open bar” doesn’t matter.

Please submit some pros & cons for each if you can.

I went on a cruise awhile back and really disliked it. The stop overs at various islands were awesome, but being trapped on the boat for most of the time was dreadful to me. Especially since there was little to do on the boat outside of drinking, gambling and bingo.

I say, go for the resort. You can have a nice stay and still plan sight-seeing excursions if you like.
