Do I need a passport for my trip to the Cayman Islands in August?

Question by dtr3471: Do I need a passport for my trip to the Cayman Islands in August?
I will be flying to the Cayman Islands in August 2007. The company I booked the trip with says “no” because travel to the Cayman Islands is considered domestic travel. A local travel agent said “yes.” Who is correct?

Best answer:

Answer by Just a friend.
If you are British, then no. However if you are from any other country then yes.

The Cayman Islands are not domestic travel for US citizens, you will have to have a passport or you will not be allowed to board the plane.

Q&A: Would any of these foreign coins sell for a decent price?

Question by allhailzeppelin: Would any of these foreign coins sell for a decent price?
I have a bunch of random foreign coins laying around and was wondering if any of them would sell for anything more than exchange value (around $ 2.50 total) on eBay, Amazon, etc (especially the “obsolete” ones).

Type/value, year, condition:
100 lira, 1979, mint
100 lira, 1981, mint
500 lira, 1984 near mint
1 Belgian franc, 1968, worn
1 Luxembourg franc, 1980, mint
10 pfennig, 1950, discolored but good
25 ore sverige, 1973, near mint
25 cents (Cayman Islands), 1999, mint
25 cents (Panama), 2001, worn
5 cents (New Zealand), 1986, worn
1 บาท (baht), can’t tell, near mint
I also have an uncirculated 100 sto zlotych banknote from 1988.

If you sell these you should definitely get more money then 2.5 dollar !
I am from Belgium and looked up how many 1 Belgian francs where maid in 1986
here you are :
Year Language Amount
1968 Fr8.000.000French edition (if you see Belgique)
1968 Vl8.165.000 Flemish edition ( if you see België)

You can buy a catalogus for this but for just 1 belgian coin I wouldn’t recommend it (btw remember if catalogus price is 3 euro’s or 4 dollars you can only ask 2 euro’s or 2.5 dollars or something like that
Source is in dutch however…

Hope you get lucky and find some collectors 🙂

Keep them as novelty souvenirs. They’re not even worth “face value” any more. Coins are so heavy and small in value, they’re not worth handling any more so nobody wants them except collectors and these are not collectible. Make an art piece out of them and sell it for $ 300

Hello,

Its ok, no problem…I was actually updating my answer when the question was deleted.

There is a salon called Strands Beauty Centre, it is located in our main town which is called Bridegtown. Their contact number is (246) 436-8227. Tell them what you want when you call and they will give you a price and you can tell them what day you want to go and they will give you the appointment..but walk ins are also welcomed there. They do hair really well.

If for some reason they do not work out the link below has a really long list of salons in Barbados that offer hair care; most if not all of them should offer Perms:

http://www.colyp.com/listings_5/5_category_B_3644.html

I hope this helps you!

P.S You can possible learn more about the island from the below links:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbados

https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/bb.html (click on the different titles, e.g Introduction, Geography etc and you will get information coming up on the respective titles.

EDIT: They are in Cavans Lane, Bridgetown. Do you know where the public library in town is? They are near there. When you call they would be able to give you directions though. They should be opend tomorrow so you can call tomorrow and ask them. They would be better at giving directions than me lol.

Q&A: Hablas espanol?

by LuisVallecillo

Question by dancincaligirl313: Hablas espanol?
Ok, well I am in Spanish II in school and this thursday we have to do a oral presentation on the topic “A Trip You Went On”. Well it has to be about 4 minutes and my teacher doesnt understand if I really want to talk about my trip then I have to say alot of words i dont know. Well back to my question, could someone translate this for me? I would really appreciate it!

Translate:
A few weeks ago, I went on a cruise. The boats name was The Liberty of the Seas. It is the largest ship in the world. On the boat there is rock climbing, ice skating, a mall, movie theater, Johnny Rockets, teen club, water park, and a Flow Rider. The Flow Rider was so much fun. You could boogieboard on it or surf. On the cruise I met many friends. We would all hang out and have fun. We went on the islands Labadee, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, and Mexico. On Labadee I did parasailing with my dad. We were very scared and had alot of fun. The cruise was fun and I had a good time.

Thanks if you can help! <3 Also, if you need to rearrange, its fine. Best answer:
