Don’t you think Obama should Reopen 9/11 Investigation?

Question by Karl: Don’t you think Obama should Reopen 9/11 Investigation?
On average, 46 percent say that al Qaeda was behind the attacks while 15 percent say the US government, seven percent Israel, and seven percent some other perpetrator. One in four say they do not know.

Even in European countries, the majorities that say al Qaeda was behind 9/11 are not overwhelming. Fifty-seven percent of Britons, 56 percent of Italians, 63 percent of French and 64 percent of Germans cite al Qaeda.” However, significant portions of Britons (26%), French (23%), and Italians (21%) say they do not know who was behind 9/11. Remarkably, 23 percent of Germans cite the US government, as do 15 percent of Italians.

Publics in the Middle East are especially likely to name a perpetrator other than al Qaeda. In Egypt 43 percent say that Israel was behind the attacks, as do 31 percent in Jordan and 19 percent in the Palestinian Territories. The US government is named by 36 percent of Turks and 27 percent of Palestinians. The numbers who say al Qaeda was behind the attacks range from 11 percent in Jordan to 42 percent in the Palestinian Territories.

Majorities of Chinese (56%) and Indonesians (57%) say they do not know, with significant minorities citing the US government (Indonesia 14%, China 9%).

A clear majority of Russians (57%) and a plurality of Ukrainians (42%) say al Qaeda was behind the attacks. But significant minorities identify the US government (15% in both cases) and large numbers do not provide an answer (Ukrainians 39%, Russians 19%).

Out of all countries polled, Mexico has the second-largest number citing the US government as the perpetrator of 9/11 (30%, after Turkey at 36%). Only 33 percent name al Qaeda.

It sounds too strange!

every will eventually die you cant feel guilty for everyone who dies so you may feel guilty because you think he was dead but its not your fault its the tabloids that make you fell like that so all i am saying is that everyone will eventually die and you just have to deal with that

Should Turkey Be Punished for Making Mischief in the Middle East?

Question by dolphin314etc: Should Turkey Be Punished for Making Mischief in the Middle East?
Organizing the flotilla and lending it ships has got to be considered an act of callous and cynical mischief. It’s what people do if they think there will be no consequences for them. If there are no consequences from this malicious manipulation of radical activists by Turkey, the 16 large wealthy Arabs states that surround Israel (none of which agree to take in any Arab Palestinians) will be emboldened.

If there’s going to be punishment, it can’t be by the USA. The world does not need a policeman, it needs a police force. So, NATO probably should do the punishing, or possibly the UN (if it weren’t such an upside-down organization)., or possibly the World Bank.

Turkey needs to come out behind on this deal. So that the harm to Turkey from the punishment is greater than the extra goodwill it gets from fellow Arab states for sticking its thumb in the eye of the West.

There has to be a penalty and ideally it should be well distributed among the Turkish people so that at all levels they realize that Turkey did a bad thing.

It’s not just the 17 people that got killed or hurt. This was a tear in the fabric of order in the world. It was 100% perfectly gratuitous. Israel offerred to deliver the authentically humanitarian supplies, if there were any, to the Gaza strip. The flotilla was 100% violent gratuitous provokation designed to establish a precedent whereby goods could be delivered to Gaza without prior inspection by Israel.

Once that precedent was set, there would be no more national security for Israel. Whether or not this particular group of ships contained missiles and bombs, it had to be stopped, and so the Turks initiated a series of actions that necessarily would culminate in a violent confrontation in which somebody was likely to be killed.

This was callous and manipulative mischief. No nation associated in any way with NATO would do such a deed. No nation expecting loans from the World Bank would do such a deed. No one knows what to expect of the UN, except we do know that USA has a veto, so upside-down as they may be, their action will not amount to much. Israel has a right under the UN Charter to defend itself. Israel did not attack Turkey here, Turkey attacked Israel — anyone who can’t see that must be on mind altering drugs like religion.

What punishment would be fair and effective in this case so that Turkey “gets” the lesson?

What will happen if Turkey goes unpunished for this act of perfidy?

Best answer:

Answer by Wise Guy
Absolutely nothing will happen to Turkey , Greece , Ireland or Israel. Israel will be condemned heavily , ambassadors will be expelled and so on , nothing major will come of this.

What ID should a Hispanic-looking teen bring when going to Arizona?

Question by Tananda Trollop: What ID should a Hispanic-looking teen bring when going to Arizona?
OK, before we go further, I am a US citizen. I do have a dark complexion, and look very Hispanic. I’m transferring to Arizona State University. Now, I’m a pessimist who believes in anticipating and avoiding problems. What should I carry with me in case I get stopped by the cops and they think I’m an illegal? How quickly can I get a passport? Should I pay extra to get it “expedited”?

Best answer:

Answer by Duke Powerhand
He should bring the same ID that everyone else must carry.

Should full Proof of Citizenship be required to register to vote in all states?

Question by Marco The Mexican: Should full Proof of Citizenship be required to register to vote in all states?
I found out that many states allow you to sign an “oath of citizenship” or just utility bills would suffice.

What should be the standard when proving you can legally vote? Should you show a passport or birth certificate? Or should we possibly leave this open to abuse?

Best answer:

Answer by Miss Nancy
Citizens should vote, all others shouldn’t.

Should State of Israel be moved to Germany?

Question by nhk_5: Should State of Israel be moved to Germany?
I don’t consider myself as anti-semitic or anti-palestine. I don’t support Israel be “wiped off the map” as suggested by the Iranian president. However, moving Israel is not really bad of an idea.

First, we have to know Jews were stripped of their homeland. Palestinians are stipped of their homeland too. Both are victims. While not all Jews were from Germany, it is natural that you return what you take away.

Germany should return land to Israel. Construction should be funded primarily by Germany and England, two countries who have created the mid-east mess. With Germany’s high unemployment rate, building the new Israel will give a HUGE economic boost. They should build it somewhere near Leipzig in East Germany along the Polish border.

The “sacred” places (ie Jerusalem) in Palestine shall be occuppied as a “neutral state” by a UN force consisting of forces from Western and Arab states. This shall allow jews & muslims to go to pilgrimage without hassle from extremists.

they would all fight you in a major war before they would move, they fought a major to get Israel as a nation, so I don’t see them walking away,
